Gefen is
een een Amerikaanse fabrikant van videoconnectiviteit. Daarmee bedoelen
we niet alleen analoge en kwalitatief zeer goede digitale videokabels
maar vooral ook switchers, splitters, extenders, adapters en converters.
Het is dus mogelijk een videosignaal te
dupliceren, schakelen, versterken en te converteren in een ander type
signaal. Ook zijn er veel apparaten die een combinatie van voorgenoemde

Gefen is well known in the industry as a manufacturer and supplier of
interface units that permit interfacing between video standards
and devices. The new GefenTV range of HD Mate switcher-scalers is targeted at
the presentation and high end home cinema markets to
provide multiple input control and upconversion of standard and high definition
images to HDTV formats, with both analogue and
digital outputs. Gefen's position is one of providing 'bridging technology'
components that allows users to interface individual
devices to excisting and new systems. We have a large range of devices
already. HD Mate is a complementary design that provides
a low-cost solution to the requirement to scale and switch sources onto
HD displays at up to 1080p formats. It includes a
parallel audio switching circuit that allows audio to be routed seperately,
for greater flexibility.
